The H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol Smoothie Recipe

The Power of HEALING

  • Our bodies are designed by God and created to heal. For more information about the H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol, read my blog post regarding Divine Healing.

  • Throughout decades of my health journey, I developed protocols that strive toward God-centered healing.

  • Twice in my life, I've been given the prognosis of "inoperable, progressive, and terminal." I spent more than 17 years of my life bedridden (requiring 24-hour care), along with six months in hospice.

  • Tired of hearing what Western Medicine couldn't do for me (and both of these medical issues they'd caused in the first place), I created my own healing protocols. I base my healing practices around God and wisdom through His scriptures while observing His natural creation that surrounds us all.

  • Twice now, I've not only survived what my doctors told me was impossible, but I've learned to thrive. Now, in my 50s, I've never been healthier.

Quality Is Critical

  • In a world where toxins constantly bombard our bodies, I reduce contaminants as much as possible, including in the food I choose. When I reduce the toxic load before it enters my body (a sacred temple for the Holy Spirit), my immune system can focus on the things I'm less able to avoid.

  • I aim for all my ingredients to be organic and as purified as I can reasonably acquire. I also never drink (or bathe in) unfiltered tap water (that may contain toxic chemicals, fluoride, or chlorine).

  • If any ingredient is processed (meaning it comes in a bag, box, or can), I prefer to purchase it from a company that lab tests their products (preferably through a third-party lab) for toxins, chemicals, plastics, metals, or other contaminants.

  • We are not just what we eat but what we absorb (through our skin, lungs, emotions, and more).

The H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol Smoothie

*** This recipe makes TWO (12-ounce) Smoothies ***

(One for a spouse or a second one for the afternoon)

The H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol Smoothie

My morning smoothie is a staple in my H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol. I start with the base ingredients, then add my choice of fruit depending on the season and whatever my body requests that day. Here are my base ingredients (I place all of them in a blender):

Optional Ingredients (depending on smoothie flavor or season):

Blend and enjoy!

Makes two (12-ounce) servings.

Custom Flavors

  • I add custom flavors to my base ingredients depending on the season or my mood.

  • 1/2 cup Organic Frozen Fruit

    • Strawberry

    • Raspberry

    • Blueberry

    • Pineapple

    • Mango

    • Pear

    • Kiwi

    • Black Raspberry

    • Pink Blueberry

    • Guava

    • Pawpaw

    • Dragon Fruit

I change the fruit, greens, collagen, protein powder, and electrolytes for custom flavors.

For example:

Choose your flavor, add all ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

This smoothie is so packed with nutrients that I often drink one 8-ounce glass of purified water within 20 minutes to begin my daily hydration, allowing my body room to utilize all these nutrients.

Gradual Healing

  • This H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol smoothie is packed with nutrients! So much so that it's a good idea to ease into it.

  • Below is a list of basic ingredients to get started. Don't have something on hand? No worries; a few high-quality ingredients are better than none.

  • Adding more fruit and less greens can make it more palatable. Gradually adding more greens and less fruit will be fabulous over time.

Blend and enjoy!

Makes two (12-ounce) servings.

Eating With The Seasons

  • God is light, and we're made in His image. So, it makes sense (and now we're confirming) that every cell in our body is influenced by light!

  • Light not only allows us to see and navigate the world, but it also provides our body with information about our location on the planet and the current season, which influences how each of our cells is optimized for use.

  • Every bite of food contains light! During digestion, our cells utilize that light and make changes based on the information they've (literally) been fed.

  • This complex and fascinating system works fabulously when we eat locally and in the current season.

  • But, in today's world, fruits and vegetables (fresh or frozen) are easily accessible at the store after traveling hundreds or thousands of miles from where we live.

  • When we ingest food (for example, pineapple—with its high-light full-sun summertime information) during the overcast, snowy winter of the north, we're giving our body crossed signals. Our eyes and skin report one scenario to our cells, while our digestive tract tells a different story.

  • This imbalance in information creates a ripple of other imbalances throughout our health.

  • With this in mind, I attempt to enjoy my highest-light-loving fruit smoothies in the summer and my lowest-light smoothies in the winter. I live where strawberries (at least the Day-Neutral strawberries) can grow and produce fruit year-round. We also have a long blueberry season, and our raspberries and hardy kiwi plants produce fruit until a hard freeze (usually late November or early December).

  • Though I attempt to eat food in season for my area, it's always with the grace of "abiding by most with a joyful heart is better than strictly forced while feeling deprived." Some high-quality food is better than none, and a few (minimal) out-of-season foods are better than skipping a smoothie.

  • Summer Smoothies: Pineapple, Mango, Watermelon, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Kiwi.

  • Including Bee Pollen

  • I tend to add extra fruit during the summer months.

  • Winter Smoothies: Strawberry, Blueberry, Hardy Kiwi.

  • Including Seven Treasures Mushrooms

  • I tend to reduce the amount of fruit while increasing the amount of leafy greens (broccoli sprouts, kale, and spinach leaves) during winter.

The Why Of My Ingredients

Knowing why an ingredient is included can help you decide how much (if any) of this ingredient is beneficial to your health at this time in your life (muscle testing is also a fabulous way to know what works best for your body at any given moment).

  • Purified water enough to help the blender merge all the other ingredients (cool or room temperature water). Structured Water is a fantastic option. Once my water has been filtered from impurities (through my Reverse Osmosis and UV filters), I love creating structured water. It adds a negative ion, creating H3O2, along with added micronutrients, which energize and empower my cells in a way I can feel and utilize throughout the day. For me, the best water is purified, mineralized, and energized!

  • No Ice because in Western Medicine, shocking the body (like drinking ice cold beverages) is never the way toward balance and health. The frozen fruit adds enough coolness to make a pleasantly cool drink, but not an ice-cold beverage.

  • Banana creates a smoother texture in the finished smoothie, and it adds vital nutrients, including potassium.

  • Fresh Broccoli Sprouts, Kale, and Spinach are superfoods that grow year-round for me.

  • Pink Himalayan Salt contains up to 84 beneficial trace minerals and electrolytes (as opposed to table salt, where these healthy minerals are typically stripped away and replaced with harmful additives). Unlike many other Pink salts, Health Ranger Select's Pink Himalayan Salt is not subject to irradiation and contains no GMOs, additives, or bonding agents. It's also lab-tested for glyphosate and heavy metals.

  • Electrolyte Drops and Essential Trace Minerals Drops replenish what may have been depleted while purifying toxins from my water, and they restore what's lacking in my daily diet. These essential minerals (along with excellent hydration) encourage the synapses in my brain and heart to fire more efficiently.

  • Colloidal Silver Drops help boost my immune system.

  • Zeolite Drops help remove heavy metals from my body.

  • Coconut and MCT Oil are useful for stronger hair and hydrating skin.

  • Flax, Olive, and Avocado Oils (good fats) are critical for brain and organ health, along with balancing hormones (especially as we age, ladies -- these good fats and oils are essential!). In addition to the oils listed in this smoothie recipe, I also include one additional Tablespoon of Cod Liver Oil and two Tablespoons of Omega-3 oil daily. For a total of 5 tablespoons of oils per day (besides what I use for cooking). If you're not used to taking so much oil, you'll want to ease into this protocol. And if you're not regularly eliminating waste from your body at least once a day, these oils may help encourage that process of natural detoxification.

  • Powdered Greens provide a wider variety of greens than those I grow in my garden. Because they're dried, they're compact and dense, allowing one small scoop to contain more nutrients than if I packed my blender full of fresh leafy greens.

  • Collagen Powder for increased health of ligaments, tendons, and soft tissue.

  • Protein Powder for muscle growth and slow-release energy.

  • Spirulina is one of the world's most nutritionally complete foods. This freshwater algae contains more iron than raw spinach and more protein than beef, poultry, or fish.

  • Moringa Leaf Powder or Liquid Moringa Often called the "miracle tree, moringa is known to contain seven times more vitamin C than oranges, four times the amount of vitamin A found in carrots, four times more calcium than milk, three times more potassium than bananas, two times more protein than yogurt, and seven times more iron than spinach.

  • Frozen Fruit for energy and to make things palatable enough to drink.

Optional Ingredients (depending on smoothie flavor or season):

  • Super C Berry Powder naturally boosts the immune system.

  • Organic Bee Pollen is packed with highly bioavailable nutrients and antioxidants that support optimal health.

  • Organic Seven Treasures Mushroom Blend contains functional mushrooms, which offer additional benefits beyond basic nutrition. It includes organic reishi, shitake, cordyceps, turkey tail, maitake, chaga, and lion's mane mushrooms. These mushrooms are naturally rich in biologically active compounds, including vitamin D and antioxidant polyphenols, which are highly beneficial for supporting a healthy immune system.

Putting The H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocols Into Practice

-- My Daily Routines --

My Daily Practice (Basic)

  • As part of my H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol, I practice light therapy outside in the sunshine (with as much skin showing as reasonable for my surroundings) during the first (and last) hour of light each day. During that time, my bare feet are in contact with the earth, and I practice deep breathing techniques while occasionally sipping purified water. During the quiet of the day, I listen to the birds sing and intentionally focus on God and His healing love. I have no phones or other EMF devices in my vicinity. I conclude each early morning session (after sunrise) with my H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol smoothie! Occasionally, I make two and enjoy a second smoothie as a pick-me-up in the afternoon. For more details, read about my Divine H.E.A.L.I.N.G. Protocol.
