First breathe.
You are still here, still alive. That means you have a choice. And the first step is to be still for a moment and breathe. Making long-term decisions while in a state of panic can lead to less than positive outcomes; to think clearly it helps first to be still.
"... stand thou still a while, that I may show thee the word of God.” - 1 Samuel 9:27
"Be still, and know that I am God" - Psalms 46:10
Breathe
Take a moment to sit or lay down and be still. Stop fidgeting. And breathe.
As you breathe in, know that you are breathing in.
As you breathe out, know that you are breathing out.
You are alive. You are here in this space, this moment. Allow yourself time to be present. Take a slow, deep breath in.
As you exhale, imagine releasing all negative energy from within you and around you. Picture a dark cloud that's expelled from your cells through your lungs. As you exhale it dissipates through the air and it enters the surrounding plants and trees (don't worry - it's energy - so it can travel through walls too!). The vegetation gratefully receives it and effortlessly converts it into pure oxygen.
As you inhale, imagine inviting in all the purest oxygen and white energy from God. Picture it as pure semi-transparent light that radiates through every cell of your body bringing healing to your organs, mind, and soul.
Sit with these thoughts for a while. Feel your heartbeat slow into a calm rhythm. Notice your breathing as it slows down and deepens. Breathe in again and on your exhale let your shoulders drop as your muscles relax. Allow the release of tension from your face, head, and neck. Follow that relaxing sensation of letting go as you notice the same softening in your back muscles... then your arms... legs... hands... and feet.
Gratitude
Now that you're in a state of calm, and fully present, think about something that brings you joy. The truly deep kind of joy that radiates from inside your soul. And in your mind, whisper "thank you". Find words that describe that moment and list them (in your mind).
"Thank you for _______."
List as many as you'd like. Sometimes this is challenging to begin, but often once you get going it's easier to find more. Let this gratitude fill you and nurture you. Take an occasion deep inhale as you cleanse and renew your body, mind, and spirit.
Inhale... Exhale... Thank you... Repeat.
Peace In the Storm
If you just accomplished even a tiny moment of peace, joy, or relaxation, let yourself rejoice and give one more "Thanks" for this blessing. Now you know that it's possible. That you can find peace in the midst of the storm. And the first steps toward inner peace are to be still, breathe, and choose where you focus your thoughts. Repeat this as often as needed. And if it's not working as well as you hoped, try it more frequently and for longer durations.
"You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day - unless you're too busy. Then you should sit for an hour." - Zen proverb
Peace Amidst The Unknown
Usually our greatest fears are of the unknown. "What if there's nuclear war?" "What if I get cancer?" But ultimately these fears are a question of "what happens after I die"?
If you know for sure what happens after you die and where you'll spend eternity, everything else doesn't cause you nearly as much stress.
If you know that you'll go to Heaven and spend eternity with God, then no matter what happens in this lifetime, you (the deepest part of you, your soul) will be okay. More than okay. You'll be fabulous!
If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior, you can know Him today. Read my post Know God, Know Peace.
Suffering Is Inevitable But Discouragement Is A Choice
Of course, to live in this fallen world is to know suffering. Every human knows what it's like to suffer.
To suffer is to want something we don't have, or have something we don't want.
As a human, to suffer is inevitable, but to hold onto trauma or become discouraged, that's a choice. Knowing for sure that our soul is fabulous, no matter our circumstances (even unto death), this has the power to change our perspective of everything we experience.
No matter the middle of the story and the specifics of the suffering, we still know the end of the story. If we're saved, that means we'll be with God, and be fabulous! Knowing that the outcome is fabulous, changes our outlook on even the unknown.
Making The Unknown, Known
Will there be nuclear war? Absolutely. How do I know? Am I prophet? Nope. But God blessed a whole lot of prophets and had them write down these specific events for us - so we'd know and not be taken by surprise when these events come to pass.
Nuclear war is described in several passages of the Bible, including passages within Ezekiel and Revelation. This isn't a matter of if, but when. These events will happen. And the crescendo leading up to them is spelled out across the Bible as well; the most famous passages include Ezekiel 37-38, Revelation, Daniel, and Matthew 24.
These upcoming events are like the contractions of birth pains, each one is stronger and closer together than the last. Only those not reading the Bible (or denying it) will be caught by surprise.
Knowledge is power. Instead of fearing the unknown, gain clarity. See what's coming so you have an action plan of how to prepare.
God didn't tell Noah about the upcoming worldwide catastrophic event and not give him tasks to do. God told Noah to get busy, prepare and provide for his family, and build that ark. We can each prepare and provide for our own family as best we can, as well.
God reveals to us a whole list of things that are coming, including worldwide pandemics (pestilence) (yes, there will be more of these that are far more deadly), famines (massive food shortages), economic collapse, nuclear war, etc. We also know these are strategically planned events, so it shouldn't surprise us when they happen.
With such tremendous insight we have the power to do something about this right now, before these events hit their next (larger/stronger/more deadly) contraction.
For example, the further we remove ourselves from the Stockmarket, or separate our finances that are based on the dollar, the less the financial collapse will influence us. Will it still be catastrophic? Absolutely. But can we do things to make it slightly less painful? Of course.
God tells us to "owe nothing to anyone". When we live by this Godly principal (of living debt-free) there are tremendous blessings, including freedom and far less stress - which increases our health (and allows us to get through other trials easier as well).
The further we bought into Satan's system of "own nothing and owe others everything", the more challenging this is to begin. But it's not impossible. If we sell what we need to, and live within our means so we can live debt-free, we'll be much less hindered by an economic collapse. Paying off a credit card, student loans, or an automobile are tremendous steps toward financial freedom. And each of these steps gets you closer to the goal of paying off your mortgage as well. These are all blessings that come from living out these Godly principals.
God also warns us ahead of time about the upcoming food shortages, famine, and mass starvation across the globe (yes, not just in third-world countries).
What if you picked up an extra can of food at the store during each visit? Or purchased some long-term, freeze-dried food? Or built a small garden in your back yard? Or a little of each of these things. Will these solve all your problems? Of course not. But will they increase your chances of living another day, another week, or another month a bit more comfortably? Probably yes! I believe God will bless you for taking responsibility and care of your family.
"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." - 1 Timothy 5:8
All these things were told to us ahead of time. There is no excuse. This is why it's so critical who we choose to listen to; usually the narrative for the masses is the lie that Satan wants you to believe, but reading the Bible will reveal the truth.
Just like Noah, as he listened to and obeyed God's action plan, he probably appeared crazy to the rest of the world's narrative of science that said a worldwide flood was impossible. If others had listened, softened their heart, and obeyed God they would have been on that ark too!
"Noah did according to all that the LORD had commanded him." - Genesis 7:5
"Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood." - Genesis 7:7
"Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and the LORD closed it behind him." - Genesis 7:16
Remember, Noah didn't close the door of the ark, God did. But not until after He sent Noah to preach the truth to the people for 100 years as he built the ark - setting a Godly example, preaching to anyone who would listen, and praying for them to open their hearts toward God. But the masses chose to believe Satan's lies and they chose to be separated from God. God sent them a messenger, Noah. and the people of the earth made it very clear that their answer was "no!". We certainly see this pattern repeating today.
But as we breathe in and breathe out, we get to make our one decisions. God loves us enough to respect our choice - to be with God or separated from Him. It's up to us!
Is This The End of The World?
Nope. At least not yet. How can I be so confident? Because God gives us a timeline in the Bible. We're at least 1,007 years away from the "end of the world".
Will things ever return to "normal" or the way it used to be? No. Sadly, this is part of the new "normal" that will continually morph into a worsening of society, the further breakdown of morals, the increase of distractions and misleading lies that lead people away from God, while "normalizing" satanic actions. Millions will die, and Satan will capitalize on his six pillars of lies that are rooted deeply into our world - the lies that the masses believe as absolute truth - Education, Science, Medicine, Government, Literature, and Religion.
The world will further rebel against God (saying "We don't want you, God!"), governments will unite into one (through the help of satanic entities), and all religions (that Jesus warned us against) will unite together as they push Satan's strategically planned narrative (of false unity).
The state of the world will become so corrupt that people will seek a savior. But they forget that they already have one in Jesus. Instead of looking to God, the majority of people across the world will look to these six satanic pillars, the roots of Satan, for their salvation. They'll believe the satanic lies that Medicine will "save" them from pestilence, or that Science will "help" them live forever. All of which, in the end, will turn out to have caused more harm than good, and these pillars worked together to form a cohesive, and highly believable lie. The first and last thing Jesus tells us about these events is,
"Do not be deceived" - 1 Corinthians 6:9, 15:33, Galatians 6:7, James 1:16
And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you." - Matthew 24:4
The most powerful part of these events is the believability of the lies.
In the midst of further chaos, a worldwide leader will rise (who the Bible refers to as many names, but he's commonly referred to today as the Antichrist) who will appear to come in peace. He'll be likable, outspoken (boastful), and extremely convincing - you'll want to believe him as he enforces a peace treaty that unites the world. But this is not peace, it's a strategically played game of war. After 3 1/2 years into his worldwide reign, he will declare himself as god, sit in the inner room (the Holy of Holies) inside the Temple in Jerusalem (yes, it will be built), and he'll demand to be worshipped. And (yes, literally) the gates of hell will open and release their demonic entities across the planet. But this too will be under the disguise of "progress" and "evolving" humans, all in the same of Science (but actually through the name of Satan).
Finally, united together under the lies of the Antichrist, the world will officially declare war against God. Just as In The Days of Noah. Yep. That's all happening.
Breathe and Focus
Okay.
Take a deep breath. Just breathe. Remember your centered space, your joy, and your inner peace that you found. That space you can return to at a moment's notice.
Inhale... Exhale... Give Thanks... Repeat.
Remember the here and now. Be present in the gift of this moment.
As you breathe in, know that you are breathing in.
As you breathe out, know that you are breathing out.
Relax your shoulders, face, and muscles. Inhale in the good, and exhale the lies. Ask God for guidance to know the difference.
Be Prepared
When we know what's to come, we can prepare our mind, body, and soul for these events. Even if we have no financial means to provide physical resources, we can rest knowing that providing for our spirit is far more important.
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us." - Romans 8:18
All of our souls will live for eternity, it's up to us where we choose to reside - to be with God, or to be separated from Him. Thankfully, God loves us enough to let us choose. And as long as we're still alive we hold the power to make that decision.
You can know for certain, that your soul will spend eternity in Heaven with God. If you know Jesus as your personal Savior, you know that your soul (the most important part of you) is going to be fabulous. And it can be fabulous right now, in this moment. In this breath.
Knowing more of what's to come can transform us from a state of fear, to a state of empowerment. Instead of panic and poor choices, we can calmly say, "Yep, I saw this coming." We can be prepared and not scared. Fear is controlling, but spiritual freedom is true enlightenment. You can know what's to come, and you can face it with inner peace, no matter the outcome.
The most important thing about building your own ark, is your soul. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can. This way you can know for sure that your soul is saved, and that you will spend eternity by God's side. I look forward to seeing you there! Know God, Know Peace.
For now, get saved and keep on breathing. Inhale... Exhale... Give Thanks... Repeat.
